Labor Day Weekend

We are delighted to announce that Pastor Dean Hackett and Pastor Reagan Couch from Living Faith Church in Hermiston Oregon will be our guest speakers for Labor Day Weekend!

Pastor Dean Hackett – I am a native of the Pacific Northwest United States. I was born and raised in Spokane, Washington and graduated from University High School in Spokane Valley. After high school, I served four years in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War.

Following my military service, I entered full time Christian ministry in October 1971. And have been an ordained Bishop in the Church of God, Cleveland, TN since August 1976. My wife Wanda and I have planted four churches in the United States and Canada and assisted in planting many others. I now pastor at Living Faith Church in Hermiston, Oregon.

I have served as keynote speaker in leadership conferences, marriage and family conferences, and had a drive-time radio broadcast, “A Break Through Minute” in Portland, Oregon and Spokane, Washington. I have also written a weekly newspaper article “Perspective”, addressing current issues from a biblical perspective.

I hold a Masters degree in Ministry, a Masters degree in Theology, and Ph.D. in Theology with an emphasis on marriage and family counseling, and have served as an abuse counselor since 1980.

I have written a number of books, including Discovering True Identity and Agape, as well as a 3-part Discipleship Series.

With a passion to see this generation experience a transforming spiritual renewal, I preach and teach the uncompromised Word of God, calling the church back from the smoke and light shows, delusion, and tolerance message to the established Word of God.

It is with this deep commitment that I address issues facing the 21st Century disciple of Jesus Christ. Writing to a post-Christian, post-modern American culture, I teach that the Holy Bible is infallible and inerrant and holds the true answers for life. Passionately, I call for the church in the USA to return to the Lord Jesus Christ of the Holy Scriptures and to preach the true Gospel. As the Apostle Paul said:

“I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel, which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ. But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed”(Galatians 1:6-9 NKJV).

Pastor Reagan Couch – I was born in Gainesville, Texas. I graduated from Lone Oak High School in 1966. I married Elaine June 3rd, 1966 and we have been married 57 years. We are blessed with children and grandchildren who follow the Lord and are cold our believers.  

My passion is this:  Love GOD as Father GOD, be a Disciple of JESUS and be full of the HOLY SPIRIT. My call is to move everyone the Lord places in my adventure closer to JESUS. After that call my priorities are: Love my Wife, my family, my Church and to be a businessman who treats all people as God wants them to be treated. To do unto others as you want them to do unto you.

In July 1966 I Joined the Air Force and was assigned as Security Police.  I became a K-9 handler then Kennel Master and Sergeant during the Vietnam War.  After my four-year tour I went to college at Massey Business College in Houston Texas.  I was Draftsman in the Engineering Department for the City of La Marque Texas and became Supervisor. I bought my first business in 1974; Couch’s Texaco and Ryder Dealership. 

I came to faith on November 19, 1976 and received JESUS CHRIST as LORD and Savior at FGBMF in Houston Tx. I became Youth leader at Faith Lutheran Church in 1977.  I went to Christ for the Nations in 1980 and after graduation became Camp Director at Camp Lone Star in La Grange TX.  After running the camp, I went back in business and started my journey as a Disciple of JESUS in the Four-Square Church.  I have been Associate Pastor at seven Church’s and the LORD JESUS has tested Elaine and my willingness to follow Him.  I am a businessman and a Disciple of JESUS. I have been on a church board and Associate Pastor ever since 1978. My calling has been and is to make Disciple’s in every church He has moved Elaine and I to.  We have been blessed to serve in many different churches in different capacities.

My calling is to be a Disciple of JESUS, and “tent maker” as a businessman and entrepreneur.

Currently I am associate Pastor to Dean Hackett in the Church of GOD movement in Hermiston. I am currently the Safety Supervisor of JSH Farms.  I am blessed to be the Men Ministry Pastor at Living Faith Church of GOD.
