CRC’s Values

  • Christ-Centered: Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior and the only way unto salvation. Therefore, our very foundation is built and grounded upon Him, the Chief Cornerstone. For this reason we desire for all aspects of our programs and lives to be focused solely on glorifying His Name. (1Cor. 2:2, 8:6, 2Cor. 4:5, Gal. 2:20, Eph. 5:1, Phil. 1:21, & 3:7-11)

  • Biblically Based: God’s Word is inerrant and the final authority by which we guide all of our decisions. We willingly submit to its authority and allow it to permeate every aspect of our structure. It provides us with everything we need to live productive, Christ-like lives, so that we may be thoroughly equipped to do every good work.(Ps. 119:11, Prov. 30:5, Col. 3:16, 2Tim. 3:16, & Heb. 4:12)

  • Spirit Led by Faith: It is possible to live moral lives and to accomplish great things for God as a result of abiding in Jesus by His grace, and by walking in faith as His Spirit leads. Without Jesus we can do nothing and our righteousness is as filthy rags. By being born-again His Spirit enables us to pick up our cross and follow Him. His Spirit also equips us with gifts in order to help us fulfill His plan. (Isa. 64:6, Hab.2:4, Matt. 16:24, 17:20, John 15:4-5, Rom. 12, 1Cor. 12, Gal.2:20, 5:16-25)

  • Renewal: A safe place of retreat, refuge, and refreshment for God’s people to come and be renewed in the Presence of the Lord, so that our guests may leave strengthened in the love of God and equipped in their faith. (Ps. 51:10, Isa. 40:31, Zeph. 3:17, & Heb. 13:20-21)

  • Family Oriented: We believe in God’s commands concerning the Sanctity of life, the Biblical View of Marriage, and in the Training of Children in the Ways of the Lord, in order to bring Blessing and to pass on Our Faith to Future Generations. (Lev. 18:21-22, Deut. 11:19, 2Kings 23:10, Josh. 24:15, Ps. 107:41, Pro. 22:6, Rom. 1:27, & Eph. 5:22-31)

  • Evangelism and Missions: Intentionally presenting the gospel of Christ in a clear, loving manner to everyone who comes in contact with our staff and program, specifically through Bible Teaching and the Relationships that we have built through the programs that we sponsor, but also through the missionaries we support and mission trips that we arrange. (Matt. 28:19-20, Rom.1:16, Eph. 4:15, 1Pet. 3:15)

  • Discipleship: To nurture our staff and retreat guests in the faith, through Scriptural Teaching, Group Devotional Times, Required Church Attendance, Times of Prayer, and Encouragement in Personal Devotional Times, so as to better understand Who God Is and What He desires, so that we may be built up in His love and in our faith, becoming more mature and complete in Him. (Matt. 28:19, Jn. 8:31, Eph. 4:11-15Col.2:6-7, 1Thes. 5:11)

  • Recreation: Camp is Fun! We want our guests to experience creative and safe activities in an atmosphere that is filled with anticipation and enthusiasm. The basis of this is rooted in the joy of the Lord and His promise of abundant life and is part of our mission statement. (Neh. 8:10, Prov. 17:22a, & Jn. 10:10)
